Wich metal drummers use drum triggers to cheat on double bass?
Ok, on the new All That Remains CD the kick drums sound fake, tone-wise. There are quite a few Dimmu Borgir songs where Nick Barker plays Double Bass SOOOO FAST it can't be real.
On "Anhilation Of The Wicked" Nile's new drummer definitely used triggers. The band said it was 'cause he's too fast for the acoustic drums to follow, so they used triggers. They claim he played every hit. Wow that's Fast.
I saw Strapping Young Lad on 7-15-06 at Ozzfest and Gene Hogland didn't seem to really be doing the kick drums. I was close, and payed attention. The drumming was insane.
What about Zach Gibson. His stuff on miasma is fast!!!

i could play double bass. it isn't that hard. i can play it fast too. lars ulrich could play it fast. ummmm, the niles new drummer.

Don't really listen to All That Remains or Nile...Gene Hoglan's an insane drummer though...I bet he does all that himself. Raymond Herrera from Fear Factory plays all that himself, I've seen him do it. But the most rediculously sick drummer of them all is Hellhammer from Mayhem. Check that dude out,if you haven't heard his drumming. He'll blow your f*&%kin mind.
