In addition to actually telling the truth (mostly) free of corporate spin, the anchor chick is super hot. Almost Scully (from the X-Files) hot. Yes I know i'm a "sexist pig" for noticing she's hot, but I don't care. I'd still watch the show and I think Kevan Quinn is awesome. I just wanna know if I'm alone in thinking this woman is beautiful or not.

Ok, on the new All That Remains CD the kick drums sound fake, tone-wise. There are quite a few Dimmu Borgir songs where Nick Barker plays Double Bass SOOOO FAST it can't be real.

On "Anhilation Of The Wicked" Nile's new drummer definitely used triggers. The band said it was 'cause he's too fast for the acoustic drums to follow, so they used triggers. They claim he played every hit. Wow that's Fast.

I saw Strapping Young Lad on 7-15-06 at Ozzfest and Gene Hogland didn't seem to really be doing the kick drums. I was close, and payed attention. The drumming was insane.

I can't stand crappy "metal" bands like Bullet For My Valentine, Atreypoo, or most of that victory records crap.

Pantera was awesome. It was hardcore mixed with thrash metal, but at least Dime could play. Their songs have more than 3 parts. At least Nevermore is still OWNS. Arch Enemy Lamb of God, and Trivium are awesome, but seriously: Atreyu!? They can't even play! I know that's "not what music is about", but metal isn't POP music. It isn't about the hook 800 times in a row, but having a hook AND brutality AND talent. Metal is supposed to be about good music and not being one-dimensional. 20 DIFFERENT parts in ONE song. goddamn it don't have 15 choruses with def lepard backup vocals.

You need more than Verse/Chorus/Verse/Chorus(10 times in a row)/repeat 1st verse!!

Play a SOLO - remember those? Have your drummer use his double bass. If your album has more than 3 Three minute pop songs on it, you can't call yourself metal. That's why hair metal sucked.
