Is there a job that all you do is travel everywhere to check out cool tourist spots and do a write up on it?

Yes, I had a girlfriend who worked for a publisher of travel books. She only traveled within an area of a few states, as she was writing articles for them part time and going to school full time. Other people with the company got to travel quite a bit more. I can't remember the name of the company now, the word "Morgan" was in there somewhere.

    Hope that helps.

Yes there is..I think it is interesting and as part of your hobby it would make a good profession.

Travel writers compose travel-related features that appear in books, magazines or literary journals.

These writers range from aspiring and published authors to adventurous travelers who believe their interesting stories could make great reading.

Travel writers work as freelancers or for travel guide publishers, such as Fodor's, Lonely Planet and Rough Guide

You can start sending your report to any open publishers that pays for your stories like columnist.. I see many in magazines like Reader's Digest.
