What can we do to enhance the level of intelligent dialog in the Religion section?

I tend to ignore the ignorant postings from the haters. If you respond back to them with a hateful answer then all your doing is playing into their game. (then they think they have won and will keep coming back with even more hateful questions.)

We can improve it by more people like you visiting it. I know what you are saying, and I have seen many idiotic questions being asked by people who, unfortunately, have probably never set foot in a church, or read a holy book and don't understand what any religion is about. They may not have had the benefit of anyone who cared enough to teach them. Maybe some will read without pre-judgment, and something will get through. In the meantime, weed through all the junk to find the questions and answers that have deeper value.

This question has been asked before and nothing has changed. I'm not losing hope but apparently the Report button is waking u some. We must ignore those types of questions and reach out to the ones who are serious in there search for truth.

I have already seen that most of the people are too stupid for religion. If there were true listeners, I would be true preacher. As one proverb says:

"it cost the same to get it right as it cost to get it wrong".

That means that among arrogant people the preacher will also be arrogant. At the end great mess will be made and people will hurt, insult and attack others. It is not my wish, it is your wish.

Some people think that hell and paradise is the same. So, let it be!

if this form lives long enough you may well see a dialog more fitting to its topic, until then enjoy the fact that it does carry a certain example of how many are today (sign of the times sort of speak).

For me, I have to pick out those qustions and answers that work best for me........and give the rest no mind.

I dont know how we can fix the diologe. Its really annoying from both sides. There all hypocriticle! The atheists call the christians ignorant and fools and the christians (claiming to be a follower of jesus on one forum) just damn the rest to hell in responce!

Like with most mass media things you don't like -- don't read them. A lot of people are just here to pass the time. And there is no dialogue anyway -- try a blog site

I agree with JD. The best action would be to simply ignore stupid questions. As far as answers go you just have to take the good with the bad.

Get rid of the religious people, and you will lose the hate, slander comments.

one thing and one thing only: Stop answering stupid questions by stupid people, when a person only gets a handful of responses they dont come back
