The people who say that it matters are completely wrong. Joni B is dead on,and so is the girl that told the story about her husband cheating.

Unfortunately, Missouri, like most, is a "No Fault" state so infidelity means nothing. I think the only time it even comes up is when the petitioning party answers the questions on the divorce filing papers.

Infidelity means nothing as far as child custody, property split, financial reward, etc. Fortunately for you, since you are a female, if you all have kids, unless you have a record with dfs or with the criminal court, you will get the kids, even if you are the cheater.

I know it doesn't seem fair, and it isn't in my opinion. However, that is the way it is.

Unfortunately for me, I divorced a cheater in the state of Missouri just a few months back so I know just as well or better than anyone.

Not usually as far as who gets awarded what. So many people have adultery that the courts get tired of hearing about it.

My ex had an affair with a 13 year old and knocked her up but the judge didn't care a bit. And my ex was about 30 years old at the time!

Missouri is a no fault state. Adultery really is not a factor. It may make a difference if there are children are involved as to custody.

It doesn't matter as far as if you think it'll get you something as a payback or whatever.
