Blank screen after Windows splash screen?
I get this unusually long blank screen after the windows splash page. The machine eventually boots into Windows XP after a good 5 mins.
I did some research and I believe its a driver. Any ideas on how to fix this or find the culprit?

Actually, sounds like it could be a couple issues.
1. Spyware loading itself when windows starts
2. Other programs loading themselves when windows starts
3. LIke you said--bad drivers.
Here's what to do.
1. Download Spybot Search and Destroy (Google it). It can delete the spyware And has a tool that can get rid of the start up programs that may be slowing your boot.
2. Right click on MY COMPUTER, and click on HARDWARE.
Click on DEVICE MANAGER
3. Look for any yellow or red symbols by a component. Try to update those drivers (if u need help to do this, let me know).

Ok dude im a guy and why would a preppy life guard get attracted to a freak anyway oh yea and i would dlete some files on ur computer
