why is the world blind when it comes to the victims in Lebanon and Palestine?ppl are dieing thur ...wake up!?

this is going to sound really wrong, seeing that i am half jewish. but no one wants to get caught dead on calling out this israelis when it comes to killing people because they've been through the whole holocaust and people dont want to be seen as jew haters. dont get me wrong on this, i think what is happening with the palestinians and the lebanese is horrible and the israeli army needs to be stopped. for the israelis to come back to palestine and say "this was our land thousands of years ago." is like having a native american come to your house and tell you "my great grandparents owned this land, its rightfully mine now." in short its wrong.

the world is a ****** up place...beautiful and tragic. eventually, we'll be left to clean up the mess that our grandparents and parents generation made.

Why are you blind to the death and suffering that the Muslims have been inflicting upon Israel for 58 years now?

There wouldn't be anyone dying or anyone in any prisons if the Muslims would stop trying to exterminate the Jews. Why are you a supporter of people who are intent on committing genocide? Why do you support someone's attempt to murder an entire country full of people, solely for their religious beliefs?

The way the Muslims have been acting for decades now, and the extreme violence they've displayed over and over against both Christians and Jews, I can't believe that God is listening to them at all, let along being with them.

I agree with Steve. You never hear of the U.N. telling Israel to back off and all I ever hear about on the new is how some poor suicide bomber blew up a bunch of people in Israel and how Hizbulla keeps launching missles at Israel while hiding in heavily civillian populated areas. Just because they started doing this after Israel conceded and gave land to the Palestineans doesn't make it wrong does it?

Yeah nobody EVER criticizes Israel. It's crazy. And this is the only place in the world where people are having a hard time and dying. Plus, the Palestinians are completely innocent.

I just can't figure out why there is any controversy at all in this whole situation. It's all so crystal clear.

Israel military is most powerful in the area. Israel wants to achieve its goal by coercive means. President Bush has a road map. Those who talk about destruction of Israel should made them stronger then Israel and then raise such slogans. There is a chance for Israel to bring Hamas on negotiating table. Palestinian have made great sacrifices. Their main strength is their spirit. Peace will give them added strength.

Believe me, we are all very aware of and horrified by the present situation in the middle east. What I hope you realize is that the average American has no power as an individual to alter current foreign policy and we, as individuals, are also at a loss as to how to offer a solution to the issues you are dealing with.

You must understand that here we live side by side with peoples of all races, religions, and beliefs. It is hard for most Americans to understand why the Arabs and Israelis cannot do the same.

I pray for all of you and for a peace that will bring you brotherhood and understanding.

I mean we.. us, the people on this website. If you're so interested in helping.. join the service, as soon as you're done with boot camp you'll be shipped over there and you can help your little heart out.

People care, we SEE what's going on.. but we can't fly ourselves over there and start rescuing people.

I agree. I just think Israel is afraid of defeat. (and maybe America, too)
