In Scottsdale? Not really. I would recommend taking defensive driving if you are eligible - it is a 6 hour class (plus breaks) and is much less painful than you think (at least it is when I teach it). If you got nailed on one of the cameras, you are pretty much toast - they are accurate and are maintained well. Also, if you are under 18 and you fight the ticket and lose, or pay the fines, MVD will send you a letter requiring you to take Traffic Survival School, which is a longer class and costs $60.00. Def. Driving costs approximately $125.00 for Scottsdale, you get no points on your Motor Vehicle Record (so no insurance adjust) and you do not pay for the ticket.

Email me with the name of the court and the names of the driving schools you can attend and I will tell you who is best. If Arizona Traffic Schools is on the list, call them - by far the best in the valley!

If you've already got the ticket, and you find it unjust, you can fight it in court. If you're talking about the actual moment where you're being issued a ticket, try asking for forgiveness sincerely. It's worked for me and a friend of mine.

I have a friend that told the police officer that she was going so fast because she had to go pee and she was going to pee her pants. She said she was almost home but she wasn't sure if she would make it. The cop let her off and told her to drive more carefully in the future. LOL! I wonder how often that lame line will work?

I have heard if you pay the fine but send a cheque for $1 more than the actual fine amount, they will then have to refund you that amount. The file stays open until you cash the cheque they send you. Then simply don't cash it.

Never tried it myself but I have heard about this a couple of times before.

challenge the speeding ticket in traffic court. most of the time they'll just let it go cause it takes too much effort and wastes peoples time.

not really you can dispute the ticket but it is your word against the officer,s word,,and most of the time they win,,plus if you decide to dispute it,,it will cost you court cost plus your time off work,,i try ed it once,,and figured out that it wound up costing me about 200 bucks it would have been cheaper to have payed the ticket.
