If Islam is a religion of tolerance, then why persecution of Christians?
I can practice my religion without fear of persecution where I live. If I were to move to Saudia Arabi, I could not. Yet, a Saudi can move here and practice his religion without fear. Something wrong there don't you think?
To quote the Koran - But if they (non Muslims) desist (in persecuting Moslems), then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. And fight with them until there is no persecution, and religion should be only for Allah, but if they desist, then there should be no hostility except against the oppressors." (Qur'an, 2:190-192)
If that is the truth, why can't I open a Christian Church in Saudi Arabi and other Moslem nations?

I really don't know whether Saudi Arabia don't allow Chruces to be build. There are plenty of Muslim Countries Pakistan, Malysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh where you can find plenty of Churches and Christians practicing their religion freely.
Islam do not prohibit other relligions to deny their religion.
I will find out about Saudi Arabia laws not allowing Chuches on their land and only than will be give you an honest answer. This is what I find out.
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, March 14, 2003 (AP) -- As Islam's birthplace, Saudi Arabia will never allow churches to be built, said Prince Sultan, the defense minister.
"This country was the launch pad for the prophecy and the message and nothing can contradict this, even if we lose our necks," Sultan said in comments reported by Saudi newspapers.
Those who want to establish churches "are, unfortunately, fanatics," Sultan said. "There are no churches - not in the past, the present or future. ... Whoever said this must shut up and be ashamed."
Islam's founding Prophet Muhammad allowed Arabia's Christian churches to continue operating and many Muslim nations follow his example.
The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, an independent federal agency, complained when Saudi Arabia was omitted on the new State Department list of countries that severely limit religious freedom.
Sultan noted that resident foreigners are allowed to worship privately in their homes.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) allowed the Churches to continue than Saudi Government has no right do deny opening Christian Churches in their country. They are wrong.

In Saudi Arabia, the land of the so called religion of peace!!! you can't and will not be able to open a Church, or and other places of worship other than for Muslims, you can't even have religious materials that is not Islamic, you can't even hold a meeting with friends to pray in your own home, or even to talk about your religion, if caught you will be punished, imprisoned, and lashed in public. Even the Muslims, who are supposed to respect all Prophet and men of God, will be punished if they praised Jesus. A man was lashed 70 lashes for praising Jesus in his class room, saying that he was a good man. One of his student snitched on him, and the police took him to court and punished him for doing what they are suppose to do!
Islam is not a religion of tolerance get this right. It is a religion of tolerance to each others, but not to the non believers. They want to conquer the world and convert the whole world into Islam, that is not tolerance, and for those who refuse to convert, they will be forced to live under their laws the sharia, and be considered a second class citizens. Those second class citizens will not be treated equally, and those who say it is not true. Then go to Egypt and find out how the Christians are being treated today. Check south east Asia where Muslims are the majority, and how if a person wants to convert from Islam is treated, or even permitted to live.
In Saudi Arabia, you will not be able to have a place to worship, because Muhammad to protect the Ka'ab, from being taken over by non muslims, he order that only muslims is permitted in. In his life time, the Mecca and Medina was filled with Jews and Christians, among others. To insure they will remain under their control, he ordered everyone out of it, but the Muslims. Then later, the government expanded their laws to include the country in who can enter and what religion can be practiced there.
Did you know that even if you have the stamp of Israel on you passsport, you can't enter the country! This is how much tolerant they are.... not. Jewish people are never permitted in the country.

Because there are other parts of the Koran that say the opposite, and man, being evil, emphasizes the evil and violent parts.
This tells us that the Koran is not from God. The Bible does not contradict itself, only people take parts of it the wrong way. Even the "contradictions" are about little details and not about the main thrust of the book.

True. But you must know that not everyone (including Christians) always live their religion correctly. There are a lot of different types of people that make up all religions.

Your biases are growing to be contained in the way of any fairness that you'll prefer to coach in this example. It *is* authentic that the Koran calls upon Muslims to handle others with comprehend, and that the final public of Muslims at the prompt are not non secular militants. you want to do somewhat examining on "cognitive dissonance". it may make you a extra straightforward-minded decide of those who selection from you. excellent this second their is countless hatred and hostility on your words.

because the muslim sees the christian as the infidel and they take to heart:
"KILL THE INFIDEL"
they misunderstand! "Kill the Infidel" is meant to be as understood to: Kill the Infidel Within
kill the infidel within
