I would say that it is, its not like he she is goin to judge you or you can judge them now... but you will have trouble doing so unless you knew their emails and passwords other wise MSN yahoo and so on wont realease anything to you at all, Nothing....Privacy Rights and what not... but depending on situations and reasons you can go to court and request it but it will be very difficult... and remember if he/she had free email it usally expires in 30 days if you dont sing in unless they paid for it. But in reality it will be hard to do even to convince a judge...like i said you gotta have an extra ordanary reason....good luck

personally, i wouldnt want to unless i felt like he had some unfinished buisness i needed to tend to, or that an email had something to do with his death.
other than that i wouldnt really see the point.

I saw a special on TV, where this girl visited a "Suicide Help" site before she commited suicide...it was horrible.

i'm sure they would, but figuring out his password is a whole 'nother story. out of respect for the deceased, they probably shouldnt.
