Swollen lymph nodes..?

My 7/8 year old rottwieller has swollen lymph nodes. She has been on a steriod and antibiotic for about a week and a half, and the swelling has gone down some, but I can still feel tham when i search for them the are solid feeling little lumps. Should I get it biopsied for lymphoma or is it normal for them to feel like solid little bumps? She is my little girl, so if there is anyone with vetrinarian background, or has dealt with this in there dog, please give me some input.

Update:

Bubbles, I did take her to the vet. He said he couldn't be sure without doing $1,000's worth of testing. I'de rather not make her suffer all that testing. Update. she seems to be doing a lot better now. The nodes in her abdomain are now enlarged, but her throat has gone back to normal. I'm thinking it may have just been an infection, and it is working its way out of her system.. More details to follow.

I'll preface this by saying that I'm not a doctor, but I play one on the internet :)

But, seriously, if it's only been a week or so, it's probably nothing to worry about. The dog is more than likely just sick. Human lymph nodes swell and harden when we're sick, too.

On the other hand, if the swelling doesn't go down in about another week or so, I would strongly suggest going to the vet about it

Lymph nodes swell in the presence of infection it takes a while for them to go back to normal. If the dog is otherwsie OK, don't worry

take her to the vet. dogs get cancer just like humans if the vet says we need to do a biopsy then i would get it done
