    Chicken 'n Dumplings (Crockpot)

    Chicken and dumplings is definitely a comfort food everyone enjoys and this is a simple way to make them.

    4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut in small chunks

    2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup

    1/4 cup onion, finely diced

    2 cups water

    2 10 oz packages refrigerated biscuits

    1 chicken bouillon cube

    Combine all ingredients, except biscuits, in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. 30 minutes before serving, tear biscuit dough into 1-inch pieces. Add to your slow cooker; stirring gently. Cover and cook on HIGH for an additional 30 minutes or until biscuits are fluffed up and cooked through.

    Crockpot Amaretto Chicken

    This has wonderful almondy taste to it.

    4-6 chicken breasts, boneless,skinless

    1/2 cup flour

    1 teaspoon Madras curry powder

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1/4 teaspoon pepper

    1 tablespoon vegetable oil

    1 can cream of mushroom soup

    1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms (or use fresh)

    1/4 cup Amaretto

    1 teaspoon gravymaster or Kitchen Bouquet

    2 tablespoons lemon juice

    6 servings

    1. Mix flour, curry powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a plastic or paper bag.

    2. Add chicken breasts (rinsed and patted dry) and toss to coat.

    3. Brown quickly in hot vegetable oil over medium high heat.

    4. Transfer to crock pot.

    5. Mix remaining ingredients and spoon over chicken.

    6. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

    7. Serve with rice.

    Here's 1

    INGREDIENTS:

    1 lg. onion, thinly sliced

    3 lbs. cut up chicken

    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste

    4 oz. sliced mushrooms

    1 tsp. salt

    1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced

    1 to 2 tsp. oregano

    1/2 tsp. celery seed

    1 bay leaf

    1/2 c. water

    PREPARATION:

    Place onions in bottom of Crock Pot. Add chicken pieces. Stir together remaining ingredients. Pour over chicken. Cook on low 7 to 8 hours; high 3 to 4 hours. Serve chicken cacciatore with hot cooked spaghetti

    This one isn't exactly healthy, but here goes anyway:

    Take some frozen chicken and put it in a

    crockpot. Usually I put two or three big pieces in, but I have a pretty small crockpot. Then put about 1/3 of a bottle of Italian dressing on top of it. Let it cook for three hours. Mix up one package of cream cheese and one small can of cream of chicken soup and add it after the chicken has cooked for

    three hours. Let it cook for another hour.

    Crockpot Angel Chicken Recipe

    6 boneless chicken breasts

    1/2 cup butter

    1 pkg dry italian salad dressing mix

    1 can golden mushroom soup

    1/2 cup white wine (cooking wine or regular drinking wine)

    4oz. onion & chive cream cheese

    pkg angel hair pasta (cook according to box directions)

    Place chicken in crock pot. In sauce pan melt butter. Stir in italian salad dressing mix, soup, cream cheese & wine. Pour over chicken. Cook on low for 4-5 hours. Pour over cooked angel hair pasta or any kind of noodle you desire. (Rice works well also).
