What does integer number field mean?

I'm looking at buying a house, when asked for a price range, a pop up flashed 'integer number field' only, and wont let me put in a price range.????

In math, an integer is a single 'whole number' value (with no decimal or fractional part).

In most computer programs, integer is a data type that supports a numeric value those same properties (ie whole number, no punctuation, and no fractional or decimal part).

Probably means a number field only. The field probably does not need a "$" or a "-" in listing the figures you want.
