Y does everyone say that the president it the most powerful man in the world?
First, he has to follow laws that are set in place by the legislative branch. Then the Judicial branch enforces the laws, so he can't get away w/ nithing. Besides, what power does he really yeild? Am I completely confused!?!?!?

He has the power to launch a war for 100 days without congressional approval. After the 100 days congress has the right to end it/not fund it. Plus I'm pretty sure that this includes launching nuclear devices.

because he is at the helm of supposedly the most powerful nation on earth. Yes there are checks and balances, but bush has managed to wiggle around some of them. Look at all the wire-tapping in the US authorized by the president without congressional approval.
