Lizards..everywhere!?
We have lizards on the back wall of our house at night. We can't open the door after dark or near dark without several of the little buggers getting in. They don't look like your average "house" lizard, either. They are creepy and "boneless" looking. We haven't found a way to keep them out of the house or off the walls. And searching the internet hasn't helped either. We've had people tell us to get a cat, but we live in town and cats or dogs have to be leashed. Leashing a cat would not be acceptable to me or the cat. Any suggestions?
I can't use a toxic bait because I have dogs. One that will eat anything! And these lizards are not at all cute! The regular house lizards in the front don't bother us. The also don't dive in the door the moment you open it. The ugly ones, some are clear, some are black with clear spots. And they don't seem to have any real bone structure you can see. The are downright nasty looking. Not something you want running around your house. Even if they do eat bugs!
We've contacted all the exterminators including the one that sprays inside and out for us regularly. They know of no way to keep them from the house either. Besides getting a cat....

I understand your frustration. See my question from yesterday: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApRGL...
That little bugger is still in here today hanging on the curtain. I heard some say that bleach keeps them away though I’m not sure. Some have also used glue traps to catch some of them. I know that they are nocturnal and like to eat insects. If you have a light outside attracting insect, it will also attract the lizards. Keep down the insect population and you will keep away some lizards. Also, while this is very expensive if you pay electric, turn down the A/C. The cold will keep the lizards and the insects out.

The lizards are there for a reason. Eliminate the reason, you eliminate the lizards!
Lizards eat bugs. MY guess is there is some kind of bug which hangs around your door after dart which the lizards like.
Call an exterminator!

Hi there! Not sure but maybe animal control can help with that problem. But, lizards are a good sign that your soil is really good...at my old house back home I had them all over the place as well. I kind of thought they were cute. :) Good luck!

here in n.e. pa. i had a problem with morning doves, and pigions, and squirrels, i used a natural predator of thiers an owl, but not a real one a ceramic or plastic one but it has to look real and placed in a place that is noticable to them, now for lizards try a realistic looking snake decoy or a scent of the snake
