We are constantly getting calls from creditors looking for my husbands ex wife. She has our phone number listed on past accounts and keeps listing it on all her new accounts. The collectors have her correct address but not her telephone number. Of course when the collectors call, they assume I am her lying to them. They don't stop calling no matter what we do. When we do manage to stop one, there is always a new one to take the last one's place. We've talked to her a few times about this, and she always says she doesn't know why they are calling us. It's obvious that she's using our number, even on her applications for new credit. Our biggest worry is how this may or could affect our credit. Any one have any ideas on what can be done besides sending the letter? We've done and continue to do all of that along with telling them not to call. Please Help!

I can't access the yahoo home page, or help pages. I can access yahoo mail and yahoo answers. But all other yahoo pages come up as "timed out" or unavailable. All other sites come up just fine. I've cleared my cache and such to no avail. I am wondering if my ip address has been blocked by yahoo for some reason. If anyone can help me I'd be grateful. And does anyone know of a way to find out if my ip address has been blocked by yahoo? And if so, how can I get it unblocked?

My step daughter, while not technically my husbands biological child (he raised her for 20 of her 21 years), has been attending college. Her financial aid is based on her mother and step fathers income which is too much for her to recieve financial aid. Yet her mother and her step father have do nothing to help her financially for the last 3 years in college. We have tried to help her out where we can, but we also have three other children to take care of living at home, so there isn't much extra these days. I know there is a way for her to claim herself as self supporting. However, we can't get that information from the college and my research thus far has led me nowhere fast. She doesn't live at home and has no children. My question, can someone explain the steps for applying for financial aid as self supporting even though you have no children of your own?

My husband has a gun he's trying to fix for a friend but we can't find any information on it any where. Its very small, and we can't even find a serial or model number. If any one out there has any ideas please let me know. We've already search the Smith & Wesson site, with no luck.

We have lizards on the back wall of our house at night. We can't open the door after dark or near dark without several of the little buggers getting in. They don't look like your average "house" lizard, either. They are creepy and "boneless" looking. We haven't found a way to keep them out of the house or off the walls. And searching the internet hasn't helped either. We've had people tell us to get a cat, but we live in town and cats or dogs have to be leashed. Leashing a cat would not be acceptable to me or the cat. Any suggestions?

Why is it, that people who were in the military and couldn't hack it feel the need to bash the military once they're out. Just because some people can't deal with the demands, doesn't mean that others should have to put up with the unpatriotic comments of others. How would you suggest dealing with jerks that are a detriment and embarassment to the USA?
