Please help with a good K-12 school recommendation in the area of Las Vegas, NV.?
I am looking for a good private school in the Las Vegas area for my son, who is entering Kindergarten soon. Are there any schools for the gifted, or accelerated learning programs? Any comments about these types of schools in this area, positive or negative, are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

www.greatschools.net This site lets you compare schools and see how they rate. They have private and public.

I have been teaching in Las Vegas public school for 10 years. We have some great honors and AP programs in our public school at the high school level. But, as far as private schools go, I have heard positive things about Faith Lutheran, Las Vegas Day School, and The Meadows School. Hope that helps.

I don't know if it's still open, but when I was a kid, Las Vegas Day School was a very good one.
