These are Kentucky places:
One of the most beautiful places in my general area is, of all things, a cemetery called Cave Hill. The history is amazing, the landscaping, too; it's peaceful (unless you get too close to a duck) and WOW to the monuments! You can see the Parthenon and Colonel Sanders, Civil War soldiers from both sides, and the number of mausoleums and statues is pretty amazing.
Cumberland Falls is also pretty cool, because it's one of the few places where you can see a "moonbow."

Hello wazup 1971, (you have a cute ID. i like it)
That's a totally fun question! I'm in California, and I'm gonna say that the Yosemite Valley in the springtime is most beautiful. It's blooming with wildflowers the snow is still on the mountain tops and all of the magnificent waterfalls say "come experience my majesty". Did you ever "skinny dip" in a mountain stream? ...hint, hint!
But, this is such a beautiful state all over and beauty is so "subjective", that I'm gonna tell you about a couple of other beautiful places here. Okay...
a) The middle of Death Valley National Park just after the winter rain, because it's so "beautiful and stark and real". As you experience it's solitude you realize that you're absolutely on planet earth!
b) Muir Woods, just north of San Francisco. When your there you can walk thru groves of giant redwood trees as the ocean mist curls around the fern covered ground...then look! over there...a mule deer and her fawn cross your path just a few feet away. Everything is changed by the tranquility of this special place.
c) Mount Shasta! Snowy and white. You might think you're in Switzerland...but it's even better.
You're on a the highest volcanic mountain in California, part of the historic Cascade range that can be seen from over 100 miles away! Maybe you'll get in some skiing if you can ever stop being amazed at the views!
Okay...I guess that's enuf!!! You got me so excited! Wasup...you bad boy. Did you do that on purpose!? oooh I hope you did! I have one more beautiful thing to show you but you'll have to come here in person to see it. I'll be waiting!
by the way...will u pleez pick this answer as best. U R sweet if u do! thin-Q vry mch!

Colorado: The top of Lookout Mountain. During the day you can almost see the Kansas border (not really but it seems like it) and at night you see all the lights in Denver. It's truly a beautiful place.

...Since I live in California...hmmmm
At The Santa Monica Pier, if you get on the ferris wheel
at night it's the most amazing place to be ever...The thing has lights- a bunch of colors...and it just seems to light up the entire sky. And everyone and everything else just fades away for a moment, and then the ride ends. It's magical in a way, I suppose.

I live in Wisconsin and the most beautiful places are:
1. Wisconsin Dells (the lakes and rock formations)
2. The Lake Michigan shoreline by the parks in Milwaukee
3. My city and my home - cuz they're mine!

There's the Hocking Hills, the shores of Lake Erie, Wayne State Forest and Holmes County, which is the largest Amish community in the U.S. (Lancaster PA is 2nd).
