If you are traveling at 99 % of c then light is still going at c. You cannot use Newtonian mechanics to say that it is going at .01c faster than you. You cannot use the relativistic addition of speeds because you are talking about an object and light. IF it were 2 objects than you could use the relativistic speeds addition formula. So light is still going at 300000km/s faster than you.

If you were going at 99% the speed of light and you turned on a flashlight, would that light then be traveling faster than the speed of light?

    SPEED OF LIGHT

It is not just a good idea,

    it is the law.

If you for instance are moving at 99% of the speed of light compared to earth, then an observer on earth would see the light move 1,010101% faster than you, but you would see the light move away from you at 100% of the speed of light.

Light doesn't change speed and always goes the same speed no matter how fast you go so light would be travelling 2.99e8 m/s faster than you.

I think that the theory of relativtity says that when light is oberseved, it is always traveling at the speed of light no matter how fast the observer is moving... so my guess is "the speed of light"

Well if you mean that if I find a way to travel with 299,792,458 * 0.99 m/s = 296,794,533.42 m/s and I don't count that I have a mass (I'm "pure" energy than the answer is not complicated...). If I have a mass than it will be a little bit hard to achieve this speed...because in theory my weight will reach near "infinit" (if i'm not desintegrated) so... indeed a good question.

well if you're moving 99% of the speed of light then you are going 296,794, 533.42 meters per second

because 1% if the speed of light is 2,997,924.58 meters per seconds

the speed of light is exactly 299,792,458 metres per second

yer man is right. light is traveling at the speed of light faster than you. Your speed doesn't affect it.

From your point of view light is going full speed from the view of the person that sees you going 0.99 c light is going 0.01 c faster then you.
