A vain guy called Metrosexual.
What is a metrosexual?
The newly popular media and marketing buzzword seems to mean different things to different people, but in general, a metrosexual :
is a modern, usually single man in touch with himself and his feminine side;
grooms and buffs his head and body, which he drapes in fashionable clothing both at work or before hitting an evening hotspot;
has discretionary income to stay up to date with the latest hairstyles, the newest threads, and the right shaped shoes;
confuses some guys when it comes to his sexuality;
makes these same guys jealous of his success with the ladies -- for many metros, to interact with women is to flirt;
impresses the women who enjoy his company with the details that make the man;
Among them:
his appreciation for literature, cinema, or other arts
his flair for cooking
his savoir faire in choosing the perfect wine and music
his eye for interior design
is a city boy or, if living a commute away from downtown, is still urbane, if not rightly urban;
enjoys reading men's magazines...
*I preferred the charms of masculine, rough-and-ready men such as actors Clive Owen, Daniel Craig and Colin Farrell, over the metrosexual man who cares about clothes and grooming, such as Jude Law, Orlando Bloom and Hugh Grant.
I had hoped equality in beauty standards would come in the form of people deciding plastic surgery was more gross than a woman having wrinkles or smaller breasts than a porn diva. A great mind-opening would follow, and suddenly people would realize that all sorts of body types can be beautiful, in both women and men. Women would stop getting plastic surgery and making themselves puke to lose weight, and those few men who were doing those things would stop, too, and everyone would learn that feeling good about yourself is the best beauty tip in the world.

I'm not vain. I only stare at my reflection to see how ugly I am. Everyone should be like me, humble an unnassuming. Must end, nail gloss is in danger of smudging.
And yes, a woman should look after her body and mine.

I hope it is as I have never met a man that isn't!!!! besides I think all women would complain if the men we all know just become slobs and start to smell, it's nice to know a man can look after himself and there nothing better than a well kept specimen.

Some men are. They just think of their bodies differently then women think of theirs. You are familiar with the term "body building", right?
BTW, my idea of looking after my body is spraying on some Right Guard, and writing out an IOU for a shower.
Don't take me as an example of it.

No one should be vain. It's alright for everyone to care about their appearance though.
