Or buy it and look where it advertises for "extras". There are loads of extras parts, all the time, for things like Eastenders and other soaps etc. and they're not THAT difficult to get into. You don't get to act mostly, mainly hang around. It can get very boring. But it's one way in :-)

What the extras parts are, is unreliable. Some times you get them, sometimes you don't get any work. Be careful and have your wits about you not to get roped into going for auditions for things in the sex industry (give 'lap top dancers' a miss) and anything that takes you abroad. Stay safe...!

And build up a CV of appearances, things you were in, make contacts and connections and be nice as you go along, the more the better. If you can record the clips of your performances, you can build your own showreel. And if you're good as an extra they'll remember you and maybe one day in the future give you a slightly more visible extras part...

Then one day you might get a speaking part. Etc. can you see where I'm going here...? :-)

And finally keep going and don't give in. You can eventually end up doing TV or movies if you're good. If you ARE good and serious about what you're doing, you don't even need to find an agent - if you're getting work and (most importantly) earning money already, they'll find you.

You've got to go to millions of boring auditions, get used to having LOTS of rejections, and shrug it off and keep going. Happens to the best :-)
