SAM HORNISH....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr?

Am so sick of hearing about Sam Hornish and the IRL racing....to top it off my town is having a Sam Hornish day with a parade....who cares that he's from here and won the Indy....we never made a big day for Michelle Thomas when she made her first movie

That is a bit too much. I would be pissed off too.

When you come from somewhere and do something that only 60something people have ever done (win the Indy 500) it's a big deal.

I'm not from a small town, but I'm from a small state (Rhode Island), so I know how that is. He's one of your own, you should be proud of him. Even if you don't like racing (you're missing out, but that's another story), you should be proud that he made the big time and put Defiance Ohio on the map.

Okay...who the heck is Michelle Thomas??? Small towns are proud when one of their own actually make it big. Look at how Findlay's been with Big Ben. Even people who couldn't stand him otherwise there act like he's their best friend. Katie Holmes on the other hand...many people in Toledo could care less and are actually quite sick of hearing about her.
