What sHOuld I take TO college?

When going off to college you will probably want to bring a lap top computer, printer and scanner, a dictionary and thesaurus, laundry detergent and clothes basket, paper, pens, pencils, highlighters, cell phone or if you don't have one, calling cards for long distance calls, perhaps your own phone and answering machine, pillows, an alarm clock, maybe a television and small stereo... check with roommate(s) first to see what they're bringing. A microwave and a mini fridge comes in handy! Posters and pictures of your friends and family is nice to have to sometimes because the rooms can look a little "institutional" at first. That's all I can think of now. Have fun at college!

It all depends on the size of your dorm room. Since the college provides basics such as a bed and a desk that's pretty much all you need. You'll learn that you'll start collecting through the year and by the end of the school term you'll have way too much. Somethings that you will for sure need are flip flops for showering in. If you share a shower with oner person or an entire floor, you want to make sure to avoid any fun foot funguses you may get. If your school does not provide a desk lamp then you may want to bring one of those.

food is probably one of the biggest expendetures during college. take a microwave and stock pile on things to eat in the dorm instead of eating out.

Don't forget the pens, pencils, paper, notebooks and book bag.

A positive attitude, good work-ethic, and money.
