weight loss....need tips?

i have PCOS, (polycystic ovary syndrome). I've gained 55 lbs. since February of 2006. It's very difficult for me to lose weight with having PCOS. I go to work from 8-5 and school from 6-10, so there isnt much time for me to work out. i'd like to lose 55 lbs. halfway quickly. HELP!

    Friend here is a healthy answer. Commence a diet of salad with only raw veggies in it and only use Olive oil venigarette dressing ONLY. Along with grilled skinless chicken with no seasoning except lemon or lime. You can eat as much as you like. as often as you like. Breakfast eat egg beaters regular only in the form of scrambled or omlets with no cheese or spices but can use raw veggies along with (1) bananna a day. Drink only bottled water or cranberry juice. No pasta, sodas,salt, or seasonings. No tomatoes, patatoes, onions. Raw veggies for snacks. To espedite weight loss go to Wal-mart pharmacy and buy otc product called Detox-7 not Detox-7 for smokers. Follow directions on product. Drink lots of water & cranberry juice everyday 1 to 2 gallons each day and urinate plus have bowl movements as often as possible. If possible include a mild exercise program of 30 min. each day such as arobics.

    I am healthy so this may not apply to you.I cut back on my carbs.Not cut out but cut back.I by Oscar mayer honey smoked turkey 1 1/2 pound pack and eat 3 slices 3 times a day to increase my protien level plus I eat Like I usually do except the carb count is lower.No soda.Water only.No candy.Fruit for snacks.I am loseing about 3 pounds a week with no will power.

    Don't know if you heard of this programme developed by D Shari Lieberman called "Transition Lifestyle System. Uses a daily journal as well. Which is good, as it is as much mental as it is physical. She is also the author of "Dare to Lose : 4 Simple steps to a better body".

    there is no healthy way to lose weight FAST

    do not accept any medical advice from here

    talk to your doctor for a reasonable plan of attack to help you lose weight

    FYI: PCOS is often temporary during the transition years of perimenopause. It usually goes hand-in-hand with insulin resistance.

    always have vegetables on hand saute a big bag of frozen mixed vegetables in olive oil and garlic add some red pepper or turmeric for additional flavor and separate into portion sized containers for the fridge

    Snap a photo of yourself once a week to know progress that will also increase your confidence level

    I earnestly advise you to learn yoga, from a competent master and practise it religiously. Regular practice is more important.Good luck.
