Where would you choose???

I've been to all three and would have to say it depends on what you're interested in. For history, I'd go to Greece. For food and rustic views, Italy for sure. Paris for shopping. Here's the thing though - how long are you going for? Why not get an open train ticket and see all three?

Do you speak any of the native languages?

I've found that French people are far more courteous to visitors who attempt to speak French (as Americans can be to visitors who speak English).

I've also found it difficult to find people even conversant in English in Italy, even in places with a lot of tourist traffic, where one might reasonably expect employees to be multi- (or at least bi-)lingual (like rail stations and restaurants; this shouldn't be a problem in your hotel, though). Italy is also known for a high incidence of crime (usually non-violent) against tourists (theft being the big one). Be prepared to be ogled (quite brazenly, too!) by a lot of men. If you're not an experienced traveler or you won't be traveling with one, I don't know that Italy would be the best place to start. Venice is gorgeous, though, and many people love Rome (I didn't, though - too hot and too dirty!).

I've never been to Greece.

If your mom's springing for the trip, I would pick the most expensive place I ever wanted to visit. For me, that would be London. From your list, I'd say that would be Paris. Just be sure to pick up a French phrase book before you go! : )

P.S. Like some other posters, I feel compelled to put in a good word for my favorite out-of-the-ordinary vacation destination: I've been all over Europe and the U.S., but if there's a more beautiful place on the planet than the western coast of Norway, I have yet to see it!

I think it depends on how old you are and what your interests are.

Paris (have been there, not to Italy or Greece): really a neat city. Lots of charm. Great boulevards to walk along. Little twisting streets to explore. Of course, the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre (museum). Don't believe the cliche that all French people are rude and dislike Americans. I didn't find that true at all.

If you are really into art and history, then probably Greece or Italy.

But I think Paris is fantastic. If you go, you will be pinching yourself in disbelief that you are actually there.

Out of your three choices, I would pick Greece - Athens for a day or two and the rest of your time exploring all the islands like Santorini or Mykonos.

Although Italy and Paris are nice, they are also more easily accessible and easier to do on your own dime. Greece is more expensive to get to, so you may as well take advantage since you don't have to spend the money.

Personally, I would go to Australia! Australia is gorgeous...

i've been to paris once and i'll never go back. it's disgusting. the streets are so filthy with grime and garbage and there where bums passed out in the streets in puddles of fresh, frothy vomit. you should definitely decide for yourself though. i agree with the person that said ireland. i've never been, but it looks great! also i've been to germany and i had an excellent time! or you could go to the ocean. i went to the cayman islands once and it was fantastic. the ocean is so clear, and the color is like tourqouise. the local people there were pretty nice too. it's a little expensive though. have fun and choose wisely.

I would choose Greece! Greece is such a romantic city! Plus, the sights are magnicificent! It's so peaceful and beautiful! You will certainly enjoy! Take it from me! The place is so BEAUTIFUL! Just look at the scenery from the source I listed down below
