If Adam and Eve were the first people, (caucasian) how did Spanish, Indians, and others arrive on earth?

I have never heard of a religious explaination of the various races, but I have read tons of scientific explaination. Here's my understanding of how races came about, and why people of different countries have distinctive facial features.

First, race - - - It is believed that all life had to begin their evolution in a warm or hot climate. Because the sun is so intense, skin and hair were dark to hold back some of the sun's penetration. When the most adventurous of them traveled North looking for better hunting grounds their skins and hair began to lighten up in order to absorbe the necessary vitamin C of the weak sun. This, of course, didn't happen in one or two generations, but thousands.

Facial features- - - - All stone age people were hunter-gatherers. The men hunted wild game for food, furs, bones, sinues, and all else that they could use animals for. The women gathered nuts, berries, roots, fruit, and all sorts of food products that grew wild in their area.

When the local area became depleated, the tribe had to move to find better hunting grounds. Some families , instead of moving a short distance which would also soon become depleted, moved miles away. Each family now living many miles from the next family, would intermarry. Each group got larger and larger, and finally became large communities, and finally nations.

Because they started as family groups, the facial features of each family were carried from generation to generation.

Now some people have an Irish look, or a Slav look, etc.

Different races evolved due to the fact that humans lived in different climates on earth. Each group adapted to the environment they were in. In hot, dry regions with a lot of sun, their skin grew darker. In very cold regions with not a lot of sun, their skin was lighter. Then there is everything in between. And who could possible say what color Adam and Eve's skin was. I would assume, somewhat dark, since Eden is presumed to be somewhere in the Middle East.

And to add a little to this, the first humans are presumed to come from Africa. That kinda makes you wonder. I agree that the story of Adam and Eve was written by people of the Middle East that had no concept of what was occurring in the rest of the World. How could they.

My views (as a christian) are this. Adam and Eve may have been the first people in the middle east, but they were not the first people in the world. The bible is based on a rather limited history -- it only covers a small amount of people in a relatively small area of the world. There were other peoples in the world at the same time, but because the writers of the bible were only concerned with their small part of the world, thats all they mentioned. (by the way, brunettes and redheads have the same questions as you do, so dont worry about being blonde.)

In the bible there's a story about the Tower of Babel. Which, according to Chrisitianity, is responsible for the different races and language barriers that exist today. However, if don't believe in that, it seems kind of obvious why there's different skin colors. The pigmentation of skin is linked to a synthesis of vitamin D and B in the skin, which provides you a certain degree of UV protection. The more vitamin D and B produced, the more natural defense against harmful UV rays you have. Darker skinned individuals produce more vitamin D and B simply because they come from places like Africa, India, the Middle East, etc. where they need the extra protection forom the sun. The same follows for lighter people, they produce less vitamin D and B because we decend from places like northern Europe, and don't need the same degree of natural UV protection as darker people.

Considering the story was written by people that lived in the Middle East before Caucasians made it to the region, I strongly suggest you revisit your initial assumption, as it is based on Renaissance art, and not any science.

Racial differences among humans are the result of thousands of years of evolution and natural selection, with humans first appearing in Africa. Scientists disagree on the influencing factors for specific racial indicators (ie: skin color, hair-type, facial-characteristics, etc.,) but that is so much hair-splitting.

Adam and Eve is just a nice story to present a point. There were more than just Adam and Eve in the beginning...The point, by the way, is that they were now able to know the difference between good and evil.

According to the Bible, the different languages came about after Noah's flood at the Tower of Babel. God told them to be fruitful and multiply, but to also spread out on the earth. Mankind decided to stay together and build a tower that would reach the heavens so that they could be as God. God was not pleased and confused their languages and as a result mankind spread out (most likely based upon who spoke the same languages).

The bible is a made up story. All religions of the world are MAN MADE for purposes of controlling the masses.

Educate yourself, and study anthropology.

Google search, yahoo search - Origin of Man, Anthropology, Evolution.

Open your mind. Don't believe the religious dogma. Spirituality is more important than "religion" which is at the root of separation and destruction on earth.

Go back to Adam and Eve theory, which I believe is the truth, and research for yourself in the old testament of the Bible, get it first hand.

Biblically they are parents to every human that now lives. So it would not be unusal for some of thier offspring, or generations below them, to populate the earth.

What I want a religious person to tell me, if the statement above is true, how did they find a wife for thier son Seth. If they are the parents of the world, Seths wife would have to be his sister!!!!
