New 100 Million pound mosque anyone?
Yep Britain PC to the very last breath. East London is to be the site of a new super mosque (Markaz) that will be able to hold upto 70,000 worshippers (10,00 less than the 2012 Olympic stadium). Indeed it will be the biggest of its kind in Europe. And act as a HQ. If you dont believe me look here

Nothing wrong with places of worship but £100m (a conservative estimate) Where will all this money come from? Apparently via donations worldwide, but £100m? Taxpayer also? (remains to be seen). Surprisingly there hasnt been a whole lot of publicity about this and the group behind Tablighi Jamaat it are under some serious scutiny. Take a look at this 5th para0graph:

Vinash, good point. This £100m can be put top much better use for the Birtish society as a whole. There are already enough mosques to go round the 1.6m or so Muslims here

Seems to me to be perfectly fine if the taxpayers in Saudi Arabia, Oman, The Emirates, Egypt, and the others want to pay for it, Otherwise, if they want to build this place of plotting to overthrow western civilization in Britain they need to dig their wallets out.

I heard that a footie ground would be built in East London for Olympics and then converted to a mosque, that was bad enough!
Im tempted to leave the UK before we actually become the minorities in our own country!

No ways...I think the society has enough of worship places, what we need to do is spend this money "honestly" on society and it's welfare, like education, housing, food etc
