In Brooks and Dunn's song "Believe" it says "I'm finding more and more truth in the words written in red?"

In certain translations of the Bible, the words that Jesus spoke - such as stories, lessons, prayers, etc. - were printed in red.

This was done, I believe, just to be able to distinguish, when reading, when Jesus was talking and when another person was speaking.

The song refers to this because he's saying that every day he sees, and believes, more and more that the words Jesus spoke and taught are true.

The words written in red... means...

The new testament of the Bible show the words spoken by Jesus in red. It's a good question, and I love that song! Have a great day.

It's in the New Testament, in the Bible. Jesus' spoken words are in red print.

In many versions of the BIBLE, the words spoken by Jesus were typed in Red ink. The song refers to believing that there is life after death with your Maker. The truth of the BIBLE.

In some translations of the bible the words of Jesus are often written in red. I would assume this is a religous reference.
