hi. I'am 23 yrs old. my last period was around mid may. no period in june and this month no luck yet.?
there is a possibilty that i can be pregnant, because of a condom breaking with my boyfriend and i. so ive taken 2 hpt test, both negative. could i still be pregnant?I'am going to make an appointment at planned parenthood, this week. but do you know if they could do a blood test? im assuming i might not have enough hcg for the stick to indentify, since ive read in many cases some women have gotten negative results from hpt's, yet they take a blood test and find out they have been pregnant all along.
i'am already feeling so tired, i have to pee every 5 minutes,my breast have been really sore and ive been feeling mild cramps for weeks.
so yeah. just looking for some advise and opinions.
thanks.
edit: thanks so much for your advise and support. if the test does come out positive, my boyfriend and i both agree to keep the baby and do whatever we can to be the best parents.

you might be pregnant. or it could be the stress from worrying about the condom breaking. you could be psyching yourself into the rest of it.

Hi there,
do you have a strange taste in your mouth? I got pregnant a month ago and I had a really weird taste in my mouth. Also, my nipples hurt and the little hair follicles around the nipples were really prominent. The doctor can do a blood hcg test; it's much more accurate than a urine test. If it comes back positive, which it might (from your symptoms) you need to think long and hard about what to do. I opted to have a termination. It was a tough decision, but I know it was the right one for me and I don't regret it. You have to make the right decision for you - you mustn't feel bullied into keeping or terminating your pregnancy, after all, it is you who has to live with your choice. Just remember that as time goes on, your options become more limited. Good luck

theres a good chance you are.I was 23 when I got pregnant and I was sooo sick and my boobs were so tender and I got some small cramps which I was told is from where the uteris was starting to expand for room.My sister was about 5 weeks preg and she had a problem with having to go every 5 mins to! But to answer your question on the test! If you go into the clinic and they will do a urin test let them know it might be negative and they are more then likely to do a blood test! I took 8 home test all said positive but the one I did at the Dr said neg and I demanded a blood test! And I got one! Good Luck and God Bless!

Well dear I hate to say it but it sounds to me that you are pregnant. I too failed many home pregnancy tests with my first daughter and didn't actually have one come back positive until I was already 3.5 months along. Planned Parenthood does do blood testing. On the flip side, if you diet or exercise constantly this too can cause the feelings you are having. GOOD LUCK!! :)
Also your HCG levels are the highest when you first urinate in the morning. Try taking the test when you first get out of bed.

Talk about rude people in Yahoo answers. Well I hope you wanted to be pregnant because you more than likely are. I have taken two pregnancy tests when I was pregnant and they said I wasn't pregnant when I was. This does happen to some women. You really need to go to the doctor and get an exam. Early prenatal care is very important. However if you are getting an abortion you are running out of time. Go to the doctor as soon as possible. Good luck. N.D.

You probably are pregnant. Feeling more tired than usual and the cramps and your breasts being sore are symptoms. Peeing every 5 minutes wont be caused by pregnancy this early. That wont happen til about your 3rd trimester. I dont see why you couldnt have a blood test done.

I'd go get the test from the planned parenthood people the hcg test is very accurate.( BUT THE LEVELS DO HAVE TO BE HIGH ENOUGH TO READ) but have yourself checked out anyway because of the symptoms. Can't hurt can it?

By this late a home test would definantly detect the hormone. One might be a fluke, but two negatives shouldnt happen. Definantly see a doc in case you have a pregnancy that has implanted outside your uterus, an ectopic pregnancy which could rupture a fallopian tube or an ovary. Good luck.

Get to the doctor. False negatives are common on pregnancy tests. Blood tests are much more accurate. Also, if you're not pregnant, there may be other medical reasons for your symptoms that should be checked.

Your best bet is to just get a blood test done. That test is most accurate. Planned parenthood is a great start and they will have the resources you need. Good luck!

Smart girl..go to Planned Parenthood. They'll might do another urine test, draw blood, and/or physical exam. Good luck what ever the out come you are looking for.
