Ok this is going to sound odd but it is true.

Women in their 20s,30s,and 40s who still suffer from acne usually have one thing in common.

Their skin is actually dry,I know you're thinking your skin is not dry right?Well here is how it really works.

Our skin has a natural balance. When our skin believes it is too dry it will produce a natural oil, well unfortunately oil is bad when not kept under control. So in order to eliminate acne we have to fake out our skin.

Use a moisturizer for normal skin(please no ultra cheap stuff as it has too many impurities, shoot for something around $8 or so),and watch your acne diminish, because your face will be getting the moisture it needs in a none pore clogging way and so it will not go crazy producing oil.

    Try it :)

I don't know of any home remedies that actually work, and believe me, I've tried just about everything. Only thing that might have been a bit helpful is increasing my water intake.

If you're in your 30s and still suffering from acne, check with your doctor. Topical treatments usually won't make any difference if the reason you have acne is hormonal.

    Good luck! Hang in there

ok first things first before you even get in the shower put conditioner on your hair while its dry (dont be afraid to apply a lot). Then wrap a very warm damp towel around your hair for a few minutes then go ahead and wash it. do this every few days and your hair will improve. You should also look for conditioners with extra moisturizing power look for words like intense repair on the bottle. I would also get a leave in conditioning treatment cream. You can also use a deep conditioner like 3 minute miracle by aussie this is a great product. You could also go to your salon and get a conditioning treatment. If you are willing to spend 85 dollars there is a complete repair system called pureology essential repair it comes with shampoo conditioner a protectant 4 weekly treatments and a leave in conditioner also it comes with another serum that protects your hair from tanning bed lights This is the best stuff i have used but its not cheap. It really is worth the money though you can also buy just the shampoo conditioner leave in conditioner and the stuff seperately if you can this is your best bet

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

You know all the stuff on the shelves in the stores and even home remedies do not work if they did no one would have problems with their face on thing that helps a lot is Proactive. The results are diffrent for all. But i do know it will improve it at least 50% or better.

Proactive, I am 36 and never had acne. This works like a charm. You have to make sure you follow instructions to the tee. Then you will see results, and of course continue with it. Otherwise for in between times Clean&Clear blackhead astringent, and Neutrogena On-the-spot treatment helps a little. Good luck.
