FIrst, Negrodeus is just a bald-faced liar ... obviously Hezbollah exists, and is not a fabrication of Israel. Even they claim to exist.

Secondly, the Lebanese government did nothing to stop them, and they have had six years to do so after claiming it would be done.

Having said that, it is also true that disarming Hezbollah could have led to civil war in Lebanon, and that probably would have been as bad, if not worse, for the people of Lebanon. Hezbollah makes up a sizable minority of the country, and is not only financed and backed by Syria and Iran, but is also VERY well supplied with destructive weapons. Let's face it, when Syria can get away with murdering Lebanese political leaders, it makes it hard to believe they wouldn't be willing to slaughter others as well.

The Lebanese government really didn't have the power to disarm Hezbollah. The UN didn't do anything to help them meet this objective. Hezbollah took advantage of that, and Israel hit back fiercely.

What measures can they take when Hezbollah is a complete fabrication of the Israeli government.... by the way the death tolls aren't even nearly equal... what you are saying that if Hezbollah which is not a Lebanese organization rains what seem to be largely ineffectual rockets killing 25 Israeli chuildren that it justifies Israeli genocidal actions against the Lebanese... you must be Jewish (Zionist)....
