Ok here is another baby name. Need some advice, NICE but not rude!!?

I LOVE IT! (The name AND the movie!) I was never one for subtitled movies until I met my husband, and he got me turned on to them (by watching Amelie, no less!) I think it's a beautiful name all around...different but not "weird" different.

I saw the movie. Everyone I was with loved it, but I didn't care for it.

Audrey Tatou IS very pretty though.

The thing about the name Amelie is that I didn't know how to pronounce it buying my ticket and I am still unclear. Is it Ah-mel-lay or Ah-me-lyee or something else?

I would choose something people know how to pronounce on sight. Audrey perhaps.

Well, Amelie means "Industrius or andmiring" in French, so yes, I think that's a great name.

lucy does not sound right. keep on trying. maybe Lucy Amelie, Amelie Marie, Amelie Rose

I like the first name, not sure if the second (middle name) flows so well.... I do like it though... I think it might need a middle name with one or two more syllables.

maybe Olivia? Don't know why, but I just love that name.

I think that any name you bless a child with is beautiful. Just don't name her something that will haunt her for the rest of her life.
