Does anybody really care?

He's a celebrity so of course the media is going to blow it out of proportion. If Joe Blow down the street was arrested and acted the same way Mel apparently did, it wouldn't make the news like it did for Mr.Gibson

The media is stupid and sleazy. The media use to be very respected industry. Now a days it all about the negative news or whatever sells. Oh yeah, I don't care that Mel Gibson was arrested for DUI.

This is a little like a witch hunt. The media over-sensationalizes everything to sell papers and stories to television. We have become a sad nation run by the media and what they think is important. What is really sad is that most people believe most everything they hear and read. They don't use their own brains to evaluate a situation and accept everything as fact.

Do people care? Maybe a little too much!

you seem to be at least a little interested, but hey, it seems too many people care about too many others that they have never met. i could care less what mel gibson does unless he is a part of a movie i like.

I really don't care about it.

In fact, I never watched "The Passion of the Christ".

Reading the Old and New Testaments 6 times from cover to cover four years ago (not anymore) is enough for me.

Probably,All I can say is nobody is perfect.Everybody makes mistakes especially Celebrities they are human to even though some think they are above everybody and they are not.I think the Media is going overboard with this.It's not like he murdered somebody.

The purpose of the media is to distract you from the real issues.

It's the anti-semetic remarks that are making the bigger splash, seeing as how Hollowood is majorly Jewish run.
