Why do people bash others who don't write perfect english (using abbreviations and the like)?
Why do ppl do that, going as far as swearing at them and callin them names?!?!

usually it isn't because of a small spelling error, and it can be difficult to understand what people are trying to say when each word is made much shorter or mispelled.

Because if I am going to spend the time answering a question, I would rather not have to waste my time figuring out what someone is asking because they can not be bothered to clearly express themselves.
Usually it is obvious if the issue is a person whose first language is not English and are just struggling as much as I might in Hungarian or if it was an innocent typo. But if the issue is a teenager who thinks that it is cool to write with net lingo and subsitute numbers for letters and end everything with LOLZ then all you will get from me is a terse sarcastic comment.
Swearing has no place here, but a well crafted repartee is certainly appreciated when deserved.

People bash others for that because it is a simple thing to write out words and adding the g at the end of a word. Neglecting to do that comes off as being uneducated and unprofessional.

Not all people overreact like that. We have to realize that each person has strong points in different areas. While yours might not be a perfect command of the English language, I'm sure that you are strong in some other area,

people like to give honest and well thought out answers. but when the questioner doesn't take the time to formulate the sentence properly or use all sorts of abbreviations and net lingo, it shows that either they are immature or too lazy to take the time and write out a thoughful well prepared question for all of us

I don't agree with swearing and calling people names, but you are asking and answering questions in a public forum. When you are writing for the public, it is proper to use the language correctly.
