Reformatting WinXP on a dual boot machine?

Alright, my computer has 3 partition (a couple more but for simplicity's sake), one for WinXP, one for Linux (Fedora 4), and one FAT32 partition for shared data.

My WinXP is acting screwy after a viral infection and I want to reformat that partition.

Now my question is this. Do I have to worry about the other partitions when I reformat and reinstall WinXP? Will they all get wiped out? Will they be unaccessible after the reformat? I use grub to choose the OS when the system starts, is that going to disappear?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Update:

I don't have a floppy drive, if that changes anything

Update 2:

it's on a laptop, so I can change the size of the hard drive, but not the number of hard drives.

First of all let me tell you that you shouldn't have all of those partitions on the same disk that just makes the computer slower. you should get a couple of hard drives.

    ok now answering your question:

You won't loose the other data because when you re-install WinXP it will tell you how many partitions you have on the disk and it will ask wich one you want to format to install WinXP on. It won't do anything to the other partitions. just be careful to choose the right one.
