Las Vegas, Nevada?

Has anyone here been transferred to Las Vegas due to a job transfer? How does the spouse like it, do you have many problems?? My husband is to be transferred there with his job, and I am sadly very reluctant to go, can anyone give details?

Update:

it is not a question of my marriage, thank you very much.. Just a question because he will be working ALL the time..

It's hot. Lots and lots of shops, good schools, air conditioning everywhere. There is normal Las Vegas for those who live there and Glamour Las Vegas for visitors. Normal Las Vegas is just like a big city. Most things are on the reasonable to cheap side price wise. Government is mostly non intrusive.

It is hot though. Cold cold cold in the winter. Property values keep going up so buy a house if you can it will sell for much more when you leave.

    Most people love that town.

Have you ever been to Las Vegas? Does either of you have a gambling problem? These are the concerns I would raise. It's freakin' HOT too.

Aside from this, it's the fastest growing area in the nation, or has been , for the last 10 years or so. LV is a place you'll need to get used to. Take advantage of the positives and be ready to show your relatives around once you get settled...trust me, many will want to 'see' Lost Wages once they know you are there...if it were up to me, I'd charge them rent! Be happy and grateful he has a job. Be happy and grateful you can get ANY job you need to there...(yeah, it's growing that fast)

    Good Luck!

why break up the home or deny him his job,are you willing to not stand by your man...there's alot of things you will come face , that you don't like or want to do, but in considerations, you need to, maybe to keep your marriage going.♥♥
