We have recently moved to Las Vegas, and we are looking for a good quality elem. school, we need help. Our daughter is starting KDG.. Any suggestions or web sites would be useful. Have heard some of the public ones are not that good.. Thanks for all of your help out there. Living in Henderson area and searching for a home, would like to pick a school first then find a home around the school..

My husbands job is transferring us out there, and we have a small child, schoolage, and we have heard from some people that do live there,thtat it is not the best place for children do to crime, and the schools are not all that good! Any other suggestions about the place??

honor thy husband, sorry not my cup of tea. I do know that between the last career and the new career they say there are to be some significant changes in the work ethic, but the average is 12 hours a day m-f and whenever needed. As far as marrying young and having a child young, lets see it was one of those common practices of the youth now days. I would never give him an ultimatium, because I do not want that on me, and he says this is what he REALLY wants to do it has been his dream, fine whatever. But his dream and dreams are not mine. I understand about exploring and seeing new things however, when you do it alone for a majority of it, having the good ol' parents around isn't all that bad when I need a time out for me. As weird as it sounds I get knots in my stomach everytime I think about it, I am in the process of getting the house ready to be sold and all that other fun stuff. He is not returning home here, he will be relocating to his new destination in Sept. Thank you!

My husband has decided to switch careers, kind of, it is just a dif. area same field. We are to relocate for about3 yrs, and then move again for another 3yrs. This is not the lifestyle I want to live, I already feel as though I am a single parent at all times and yes I work full time also.. I do it all.. He has made it clear that his career will come first, since we are not living together right now he is away at training, I have began to realize that there are certain things that I desire in life and things that I want, I have told him this and we just do not seem to be on the same page on ANY of it. I feel I owe it to the marriage to at least move and try it, but then another part of me does not want to go I have enjoyed my time alone . I have told him that things will need to change and told him what, I know that you can not change a person, we seem to have hit a brick wall any suggs, I have mentioned marriage counseling, but so far it has been a no go.. help
