How to lower cholesterol with supplements?
Eating right, and excercise are the obvious answers to reducing cholesterol. I want to know what supplements can AID in reducing bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol?
I would prefer first hand information. What has lowered your cholesterol?

To lower cholesterol: Eat no-cholesterol food (not eating fried foods is a big step) Eat foods high in fiber (when you eat fiber, you use your supply of cholesterol in the bloodstream to digest) Exercise (cardio exercise will lower cholesterol) OTC medications will not work. Only prescription meds will have any effect, but they have some side effects that can be serious, so that is a last resort.

Antioxidants. omega-three complex seemed to have helped.
