What does this recurring dream mean?
It's always a slightly different dream, but every few months for a long time (like years) I've had a recurring theme in my dream. I'm always in my house and panicking because either me or someone else is in some kind of extreme danger (sometimes I'm being hunted down by an intruder, sometimes somebody is having a heart attack, etc.).
Anyway I always need to call the police or an ambulance, but I always have difficulty doing this. Sometimes I can't find the phone, sometimes I can't get a dial tone, sometimes i can't remember the emergency number, sometimes dialling the number just doesn't work and sometimes the person on the other end thinks I'm making it up. Anyway I can never get the help I need and I start to panic even more. I have woken up to find myself physically crying sometimes.
What could this mean? It's weird.

Let me analyze the dream
Extreme danger, having heart attack = worries
Panic in the dream = insecurity, anxiety
Can't find phone, or get a dial tone = losing control
I am sorry to say that you have an extreme case of anxiety and you may have serious stress over something you can't control in reality. You projected all these problems in dreams that may be an mirror of your real life. Although you may not see them as in reality, deep down your subconscious mind, you are insecure and very stressful.
If you don't experience that panic in real life, I say you probably have some hidden unease guilt feeling. You probably have something hidden from someone, or you do not want to open up with people especially social life. Therefore, when you dream, you get no support when your worries come. This dream is a reflection of your personality, and it pretty much tells you that you are very stressed.
Advice: try to open up and talk things with friends you trust and even your inner feeling. You should let it go or you will keep having this insecure dream.

I think it means you feel your life is out of control. I had a dream once that I was in the military on a rescue mission and my comrades were being kept in cages on a beach. We were under heavy fire but as I tried to free my people I was stuck in the sand and mud and moving very slow. Restricted movement, like trying to move in mud, or an inability to make a phone call, means you think you can't control your own actions or that your life is out of your control.
I would suggest trying to fast or exercise or do things to increase your will-power and ability of self-control to get the dreams to stop.

Sylvia Brown's quite vague with her answers, and when she's specific, she's either wrong or paid the asker to tell her something. If the asker tells her what to 'predict', she can do it perfectly and the asker will play along.
No, I'd think it means that you feel like you've got everyone's well-being on your shoulders, you often have to do a lot for these people. However, you feel like you can't always help them, and it's weighing you down. I hope that helps!

I think you might have some form of a sleep disorder. I remember reading about a certain sleep disorder where people dream about something important that they need to do but they can't do it. Dreams range from your dream to needing to use the bathroom but there's none available.

You are having anxieties about yourself or people that you love being in danger, and you feel the responsibility to protect both them and yourself.
You have a very difficult time reaching out to the appropriate people to ask for help -- you just aren't sure how to ask for help although you know that you need it. You do not feel the ability to handle stressful situations that come your way by yourself, nor do you feel that you are effective at reaching the appropriate resources to help you.
In the past you have felt "left out to dry" by people who were supposed to help you figure out how to handle fear and stress.
God bless.

Your body either is trying to wake you up to go to the bathroom (mom's advice) or you are experiencing a blood sugar dip in the middle of the night.
For info on what to do if it is low blood sugar, go to www.hufa.org.

No one knows why we dream certain things, but some people say they can. I have never had a pleasant dream in my life that I can remember. I have cried in my sleep too.

I think you should contact Sylvia Brown.....she's on Montel..........for real man.......this could be a past life of yours or something in that house..........just read her book or contact her. Otherwise, I think it's just on your mind so you keep dreaming of it. Read some magazine at bedtime of funny nice things and hopefully you'll dream of nice things......sweet dreams

Is there possibly something going on your life that you feel you have no control over? There could be something that you wish would end but it doesn't and you're blaming yourself for it.
