Why do I keep hearing a buzzing noise?

It sounds like its coming from inside the wall.

    You may have a bee, wasp or hornet hive in there.

    But if the buzzing stops and somebody starts talking to you saying things like "LET ME OUT!" you had better call the cops and vacate the house.

    if its only during the day its what we call a mud dobber. a bee withe a long black body, goes gets some mud, gets into the attic etc through the screens or cracks the deposits the mud on their nest. the noise comes from them vibrating the mud and drying it and forming it to fit their needs.

    microscopic vibrations...perhaps eventually, if the vibration is harmonious, the wall will collapse.
