Does anyone know if Boondock Saints 2 will ever be released?

Well...your question may depend on how much you believe in rumours. Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day was up on Imdb for a while. The synopsis being that the guys were hiding out in Ireland for the last few years when they hear about murders taking place back here and were being made to look like that of the "Saints". And when a priest is killed, they decide to come back and find out whats going on.

However, Troy Duffy does not do well with executive. They had a LOT of trouble making even the first movie. So production ended because the studio didnt want to fund the money, yada yada.

The latest rumor though, is that since the movie got such a following once it hit DVD and made so much for Fox, Fox has decided to fund it, it will be going into production, and everyone is returning except Willem Defoe. (or however you spell his name). Believe it if you will, but im waiting to see for myself.

Well...Troy Duffy has been wanting to do a sequel for years, but there are some legal problems. He said he would do one after these "legal issues" are settled. Since DVD sells were so good, Fox, this year, has agreed to do a sequel, but I haven't heard anything about a script or filming yet.
