And, the draft would be one of the greatest things to happen to this country. All of the cowards would leave, and the criminal kids would be put on the front lines. That would move the current front lines and killing fields out of our neighborhoods. It would be a blessing. I wouldn't worry about trade being shut down between china and wal mart, we can all live without amazing shrinking underwear and cheap am/fm radios for a while. And interest rates aren't very friendly right now anyway, ask anybody that missed a payment, by one day.

Yes, Israel has nukes, but who is their strongest supporter, whose existence is the sole influence keeping them alive as a country? That's right, the United States of America. And believe it or not, our influence over Israel is powerful indeed. Not to say that we control them, but you are far from the only analytical mind breaking your brains over this problem. It's probable that especially now, Israel sees the delicate position it's in. Nuclear weapons are likely to be the last on their list of possible solutions to the problem. And how would I prepare? If and when Nuclear war happens, I will pray for Jesus to come and fix things, because face it folks, once we start hucking nuclear bombs at each other, there is nothing we ourselves can do to avoid being completely destroyed. If it's not in the mile-wide fireballs, then it'll be in the nuclear winter that follows them, or maybe from the horrific radiation sickness that would inevitably ravage the entire surface of the planet. No, we have thrust ourselves onto the last step of a staircase that ends in a 1000 mile drop. And the wind at our backs is getting stronger. When we fall, only God will be able to catch us.

I believe that each of us should live our lives like we will live to see 100 and spend our days doing our best to better ourselves and contribute to society.

I don't think we should spend our time worrying over things we have no control over, like the war overseas or the weather, etc.

If we have a nuclear war, I do not want advance warning, I'd rather it just happen since I would not expect or even want to survive a nuclear war.
