Do you think this is odd ...? (cheeky Q)?
My meds say that I should not drink alcohol while taking them because alcohol "may intensify the effect" ... so you know, my meds are for bipolar disorder ... does that mean that if I drink alcohol, I'll be more balanced? And if so, why are they warning me against that??
OK, even though I specifically put that this is a cheeky question (meaning: tongue-in-cheek ... in jest ... etc), you're all being very serious in your answers ...

it says that on all meds. and no till will not make u more balanced. if u have questions u should try asking the parmasist. but its cause it can actuly counter react aginst the meds and make ur condition worse. there are many reason to not drink while taking meds.

Intensifying the effect of alcohol usually means your liver will be shot in half the time.

Definitely not. My meds(for depression) have the same warning. Did it one time and I couldnt move and threw up everywhere. I thought I was going to die. It sucked!
