Have you heard about Paris Hilton getting into the Guinness Book of World Records?
Paris was to be named as the world's most over-rated celebrity, thanks to a compilation of magazine polls on readers' least favourite stars. I think it's absolutely appropriate, and hugely funny!
Do you agree?
11 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoDo you think that it's good etiquette to dump someone via technology (computer/cell phone/etc)??
I'm doing a poll of my 360 page about the most common ways that people are dumped, or dump others. Could you please go and cast your vote?

6 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoHave you ever had someone from Answers show up in your dreams?
I had an odd dream last night, about crime families of all things, and "Heidi K" was in it ... in my dream she was a mother with two kids, who had been shot at by an opposing crime family.
Have any of you had someone from here surface in your dreams? If so, who was it, and what was their role in it?
Please, try to keep this a little clean ... if it was a raunchy dream, just say it was "of a sexual nature" ... please don't give me details!
10 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoDo you think this is odd ...? (cheeky Q)?
My meds say that I should not drink alcohol while taking them because alcohol "may intensify the effect" ... so you know, my meds are for bipolar disorder ... does that mean that if I drink alcohol, I'll be more balanced? And if so, why are they warning me against that??
10 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWould you ... A, B, or C??? (see details)?
I have a meeting tonight, with 3 other women, and I know that at least one of them wanted this meeting held without me. I thought that she and I got along really well (she came to my birthday party, has been to my house for coffee, etc) but apparently I was wrong.
Would you :
A) Go to the meeting and pretend that nothing is wrong, and not let on that you knew she didn't want you to be there?
B) Go to the meeting and confront her about not inviting you, and demand an explanation?
C) [Another option]
41 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoDo you ever just ...?
Do you ever just get so sick of the people that ask pointless questions that you skip their questions altogether?
Do you ever read a question, including details, and then decide that you're not going to bother answering because the question is a waste of your time?
OR Do you ALWAYS answer, even when the question and any answer you could give are completely pointless, just to get your two points?
Why / Why not??
19 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoDo these people have any right to get their undies in a twist?
Have you noticed that there are a small group of idiots that come on Answers and ask stupid questions, make objectionable statements, and are generally pathetic ... and then when people stand up to them, or report them, they turn aggressive and nasty?
Children have full access to the questions and answers on this site, and I think that we have every right to report people who are obscene and abusive.
What right do people have to attack other users, when they are the ones not following the community guidelines and causing offence?
Should Yahoo be providing better protection for those people who are willing to stand up against such negative users and keep Answers free from abuse?
What do you think?
8 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoDo you think that we should be able to ... ?
Do you think that we should be able to delete answers that we have given at any stage? I have noticed that once a question is resolved, we cannot delete our answer. I think that we should have the right to remove any content that we post, whether the question is open, in voting, or resolved.

6 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWhy am I stuck on 1900 points??
I have just rated 60 questions and voted on 60 questions, but I'm not getting my points ... This happens to me quite often, and I am getting REALLY annoyed ... at this rate I'll be on level 3 FOREVER...!!!! (Bet your butt they'll take my 5 points away for asking this question though ... dammit!)
Any ideas?
7 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoShould mothers get paid? How much are they worth? Why/why not???
First up, let me explain that we have two children - a 5 year old and a 7 month old.
My hubby and I have a standing argument about the value of mothers. He earns a substantial income (over 100K) and his job requires that he travels out of town for approximately 50% of each month.
When I told my hubby that a survey determined an average stay-at-home mother would earn $131471 annually if she received a paycheck (another survey put this figure at $508700!!), he basically laughed at me, and whenever we discuss our budget he makes snide comments about the fact that I don't earn an income.
My theory is that it is my job is to raise the children and develop them into decent human beings who become good citizens, which is obviously not as easy as it sounds, or there wouldn't be any need for prisons!

23 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoDo you answer questions with more than 20 answers?
Personally, I can't be bothered reading through pages of answers in order to make sure that I'm not repeating what someone else has already said, so generally, if a question has more than 20 answers, I don't even open it.
How about you? Do you care how many answers there are?
Do you have a cut off number?
Why/Why not?
