What is the Islamic view of the teaching 'turn the other cheek'?

yeah we have similar understanding in Islam too such as the following:

-meet the evil with good behavior

Quran 23:96

[96] Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter.

-love ur enemy

Quran 41:34

[34] The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better then verily he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend.

-the eye for any eye, that's for the law of the country, for crimes, court and justice. otherwise everyone will hurt each other.

One should turn the other cheek when he or she is bothered by something, but when there is injustice in the world, then no one can turn the other cheek and a muslim should help restore justice in the world. If you're being shot at, you definetly do not turn the other cheek, otherwise, you allow yourself to be killed which is pretty much suicide. Pretty much, turn the other cheek when you are having a small conflict that will resolve itself later. Otherwise, God does not allow anyone to just sit there watch suffering and expect to be rewarded for it.

we, muslims are given the priveledge to seek justice or whatever damages to be claimed. But we can also strike back at anyone who tresspasses us.But it is best and rewarded that we understand why we were wronged and forgive those who made injustice toward us.I just don't know if there is something like the bible teaching of giving the other cheek, carrying double the burdens. I think it's rediculous, it's like giving my other daughters to be raped when one is already abused.

quran 2:190

fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities, for Allah loved not aggressors.

quran 4:135

o ye who believe! stand frimly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even among yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be against rich or poor: For Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts of your hearts , lest you swerve, and if you distort justice or decline to do justice, verily, Allah is well acquainted with all that you do.

quran 42:40

the recompense for an injury is an injury equal therto in degree: but if a person forgives and make reconcillation, his reward is due from Allah: for Allah loved not those who do wrong.

Better yet (than turning the other cheek), is "from such" (lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient, unthankful, unholy, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, dispisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, HIGHmindead, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God[Grace], having a form of godliness but denying the [higher] power thereof); From such "turn away": 2Tim 3: 2,3,4,5
