The song is very valid, just look at all the world situations. I am not just talking wars that we are in... or are directly involved with... look at the situations on Africa and S. America. Brutal Governments and Military Regimes, that we have supported and do support, abuse and kill their own people. We are progressively 'shitting in our own nest', referring to the 'Climate Crisis'. Americans are more interested in 'I-pods' and 'Amercian Idol" than taking care of another human being. "I have the right to spend my money, wherever I want... who cares about cancer patients or starving black children or uneducated teenagers." What's more important to the world?

Nothing has changed about how we are reproducing, if anything people are having more children than ever. This means the population could triple to about 18 billion in less than 20 years. Our ability to sustain that level of population is non-existent. It isn't intentional world-wide suicide, we are just so horny we are boffing ourselves into oblivion.
