I have no problem with helping immigrants that come to our country.But we must not forget our old people,or all our people for that matter.It seems our government extends a helping hand to foreigners but rejects its own people..something is very wrong here..

I didn't consider it racist until I say the "or we must really love tacos" comment. It is NOT just illegal immigrants from Mexico that are the problem - it is illegal immigrants period. Other than that, I agree with your statement. I work my butt off and make a decent living but my job does not offer health insurance, and I can't afford to buy my own. Yes I see all kinds of illegal immigrants getting free health care - how fair is that? I guess I need to renounce my citizenship and sneak back across the border in able to go to the doctor. I don't qualify for any assistance - they say I make too much money.

How exactly, was this not meant to be racist? I am half mexican. (I'm sure you want to know, so before you judge me, the mexican half of my family are totally "legal") and I am just as worried about the state of our country as the next person. We're so busy putting out fires everywhere else in the world, we don't pay attention to what is going on at home. But couldn't you have just said that? No. You decided to try for some humor. Although your comment is rather brash I must without a doubt agree with it. Something needs to be done about the illegal immigrants. They are nothing but a drain on the economy which hurts the working citizens who support themselves, this country, and all of the freeloaders in it.

Immigration will always be there. The best we can do is teach immigrants, legal and illegal to be productive in our society. When an illegal immigrant is caught, they should be given a SS# and pay taxes like the rest of us. When they will work for min wages we will become more productive in the US.

Tough poop! Why should we as tax payers supplement the needs of any person who has failed to plan properly for their retirement and medical costs. They were not always old and confused. Everybody wants a handout from somebody. Get a job, live modestly, pay your own way. We all have our my own families to worry about. Why should I have to pay because other people are unable to pay their own way?

There are hundreds of these kinda points that can be made, all these people that consider themselves patriotic hate this kind of point and even try to defend it, however there's really nothing to say here. It is what it is and our current public healthcare system just does nothing for the average person.

The only reason we do it is because illegal aliens will work THE CRAPPIEST most degrading jobs, for next to no money. People who are born in America won't. It all come down to the money.
