Can anyone recommend decent and safe movie download sites?

I've found a few sites online but not sure how safe they are. Does anyone out there have a preferred site that they use that's safe and FREE?

If you go to download.com and search for "bit torrent" and download that, then go to torrentspy.com or bushtorrents.com or isohunt.com or mininova.com you can get movies, music (full cd's), applications, etc. and they're all free.
