Flight Attendants - possible strike?
Anyone concerned about th Flight Attendance going on strike AUG 15? (for Northwest Airlines) What would happen if they did?

I think they will work it out I don't think they are that far apart.

No. Their strike and inevitable going out of business would help the other struggling airlines regain some lost revenue.
I will miss Northwest. Although it's probably the worst airline flying in the United States, it has a long and interesting history. Also, they keep many of the junk airliners...old DC-9's flying. I'm an airliner nut and I'd hate to see those Jurassic jets disappear from the skies.

I imagine that the worst that can happen is them all being fired. Airlines don't like to put up crap because it's a big business that is heavily relied upon. Although, they may have trouble resolving employment issues in some areas. I don't think it will be as big as the other strikes we hear about.

Didn't you notice when their maintenance workers went on strike a while back? Planes kept breaking down!?
I don't fly NW, but I used to. It was a great airlines with great flight attendants, but I prefer Hawaiian (however geographically-limited it may be...)

They all got fired last time apparently that didn't teach them maybe that could happen again. There are plenty of people who want thosse jobs.

they better work it out, going to vegas on that airline, i didnt hear anything about it!
