Batman and Robin?
There's already a robins' nest in my backyard workshop. Last night while I was working in there, a large bat flew in and divebombed me for a few minutes.
This morning I had an insatiable urge to put on my wife's pantyhose.
Any ideas or advice on what all of this means?
2 AnswersMental Health1 decade agoWindows XP Home vs. Windows XP Professional?
Is there a way to overwrite pre-installed Windows XP Home SP2 with Windows XP Professional without having to reformat the whole thing? I just bought a new laptop that came with XP Home but when I try to overwrite with my OEM XP Professional (bare bones) CD I get a message that says...can't do...the existing version (Home w/ updates) is newer than the one I'm trying to install (Professional OEM.)
For example, will it work if I uninstall the XP Home updates?
I'm trying to avoid having to reload all of the drivers and packaged software that came pre-installed on the thing
2 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoGarbage Men vs. Doctors (in general)?
Why do people GENERALLY look down on garbage men but hold doctors in high esteem? Sanitation is critically important to society and good garbage men are hard to come by. Medical care is too, but doctors are a dime-a-dozen. (Funny answers and jokes are welcome, too...I'm not complaining...just curious about others' thinking on the philosophy of social stature.)

7 AnswersPhysics2 decades agoBirds in a 747?
Here's and old question from my flight school days...I'd like other's opinion! I can't remember what or how we decided on the answer, but we debated it for days.
A 747 is at cruise speed and level flight. In the cabin are a bunch of birds that weigh a total of 10,000 pounds. If all the birds begin to fly around in the cabin at once, does the weight of the 747 remain the same, or is it reduced by 10,000 pounds?
3 AnswersAircraft2 decades agoRaccoon Bait? What's the best bait to trap a raccoon in a (humane) trap?
I've got a big, healthy, and beautiful (24" and 24 pound!) raccoon terrorizing my back yard and eating my pet chickens. I want to catch him in my (humane)possum trap and move him back to the woods. What's a raccoon's favorite food that'd lure him into the trap? (He's not rabid...just a suburban raccoon...and the city animal control people aren't interested in him and even my cats ignore him.)
9 AnswersOther - Pets2 decades agoWhy do some people think Catholics don't believe the Bible?
The Bible was first compiled by the Catholic Church at the Council of Rome in 382 A.D. (Protestant's later removed from their version the books of Tobit, Judith, 1 and 2 Maccabees, Wisdom, Sirach , Baruch, and portions of Esther and Daniel.) The Bible is read at every Mass and regularly by practicing Catholics. (Also, how was it possible for the Christian Church to exist BEFORE the Bible was compiled...if it is the ONLY source of Christianity?)
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoTruth and Lies?
Is there such thing as a truth or a lie or are we free to view a fact anyway we want? For example, the Earth is round. I decide to choose to believe it's square. Does that make the Earth square?

So many of our Presidents and other politicians are pathological liars. Why do so many get re-elected?
